Waterfall Trolley Suggested Itineraries
The itineraries listed below are suggestions only. They are not the full range of possibilities. They are provided for your connivence to assist in you planning your visit. The itineraries range from staying on the trolley to all day hiking adventures. Option A itineraries might be considered a stroll where as Option B itineraries might be considered a hike. The itineraries are shown by the number of hours you have to spend with us.
We have had guests take as many as seven strolls/hikes in a day or none at all. The choice is yours.
Time Available: 1.5 to 2.5 hours
Option A1 – 1.5 hours
- Board the Trolley in Corbett
- Stay on board the trolley, see the sights and enjoy the narration – you do not have to get off
- Return to Corbett on board the trolleyoard the Trolley in Corbett
Option A2 – 1.5 hours
- Board Trolley in Corbett
- Hop off at Multnomah Falls for 27 minutes
- Reboard the trolley for return to Corbett
Option A3 – 2.5 hours
- Board Trolley in Corbett
- Hop off at Horsetail Falls for approximately 8 minutes
- Reboard the same trolley you got off after it turns around
- Hop off at Multnomah Falls for 1 hour with a possible stroll to the bridge and back
- Reboard the trolley for a return to Corbett
Time Available: 3.5 to 4.5 Hours
Option A4 – 3.5 to 4.5 hours
- Board Trolley in Corbett
- Hop off at Horsetail Falls for approximately 8 minutes
- Reboard the same trolley you got off after it turns around
- Hop off at Multnomah Falls for 1 hour with a possible stroll to the bridge and back
- Reboard the trolley to your choice or Wahkeena, Bridal Veil or Latourell Falls (pick one or two depending on time available). Bridal Veil is the easiest stroll, Wahkeena in the more challenging of the three strolls
- Reboard the trolley for a return to Corbett
- Result: Three waterfalls in 3.5 hours or four in 4.5 hours
Time Available: 4.5 to 5.5 Hours
Option B1 – 4.5 hours
- Board Trolley in Corbett
- Hop off at Latourell Falls and hike the loop the Upper Falls – allow 2 hours for the hike
- Reboard a trolley to Multnomah Falls
- Hop off a Multnomah Falls for 1.5 hours with a possible lunch at the Lodge
- Reboard a trolley for a return to Corbett
- Result: Two waterfalls and a possible lunch in 4.5 hours
Option B2 – 4.5 Hours
- Board the Trolley in Corbett
- Hop off at Horsetail Falls and hike to Pony Tail Falls
- Reboard a trolley at the Triple Falls stop
- Hop off at Multnomah Falls for one hour
- Reboard a trolley hoping off at Bridal Veil Falls.
- Hike the Bridal Veil Overlook Trail and to the base of the Falls
- Reboard a westbound trolley to Corbett
Time Available: 6.5 Hours to All Day
Option B3 – 6.5 hours
- Board the Trolley in Corbett
- Hop off at Latourell Falls for the 2 hour Upper Falls Loop
- Reboard a trolley to Horsetail Falls and hike to Pony Tail Falls
- Reboard a trolley at the Triple Falls stop
- Hop off at Multnomah Falls for one hour and a possible lunch
- Reboard a trolley to Bridal Veil Falls and hike the Overlook Trail
- Reboard a westbound trolley to Corbett
Option B4 – 7.5 hours
- Board the Trolley in Corbett
- Hop off at Horsetail Falls and hike to Pony Tail Falls
- Reboard a trolley at the Triple Falls stop
- Hop off at Multnomah Falls and hike the Larch Mountain Trail to connect across to the Wahkeena Falls Trail and come down the Wahkeena Trail to board the Trolley at Wahkeena
- Hop off the trolley at Latourell and hike the loop to Upper Latourell Falls
- Reboard a westbound trolley to Corbett
Option B5 -7.5 to 8.5 hours
- Board the Trolley in Corbett
- Hop off at Horsetail Falls and hike to Pony Tail Falls
- Reboard a trolley at the Triple Falls stop
- Hop off at Multnomah Falls for an hour and reboard or hike the connector trail toward Wahkeena, ascending to the connector trail to Angels Rest
- After the hike to Angels Rest reboard a trolley westbound to Latourell Falls.
- Hop off the trolley at Latourell and hike the loop to Upper Latourell Falls
- Reboard a westbound trolley to Corbett

Want to fit in as many waterfalls as possible? These suggested plans use the Waterfall Trolley in both directions to help reduce wait times. Instead of always waiting for the next trolley continuing the same direction, you may board the next available trolley traveling the opposite direction. This can help you visit more waterfalls, add short hikes, and make the most of your day in the Gorge.

- 6 – Wahkeena Falls to bridge Approx. 0.4 miles roundtrip
- 7 – Multnomah Falls to bridge Approx. 0.2 miles roundtrip
Recreational Hiker
- 3 – Upper Latourell Falls loop Approx. 2.4 miles roundtrip / loop
- 5 – Trail to Coopey Falls Approx. 1.0 mile roundtrip to Upper Coopey Falls side trail area
- 6 – Wahkeena Trail to viewpoint Approx. 1.4 miles roundtrip to Lemmons Viewpoint
- 7 – Multnomah Falls to viewpoint Approx. 2.4 miles roundtrip to the top of Multnomah Falls
- 8 – Triple Falls Trail to Pony Tail Falls Approx. 4.0 miles roundtrip if continuing to Triple Falls
- 9 – Horsetail to Pony Tail and return Approx. 0.8 to 1.0 miles roundtrip
- Horsetail to Triple Falls Trail Approx. 4.0 miles roundtrip
Prepared Hiker
